There is nothing like having our students in the building bringing it to life. I am ready to welcome everyone back and feel the energy of our students. I am truly excited about the start of this school year. I will begin our Zoom parent meetings closer to the start of school so that we are able to share the most relevant and up-to-date information. I know many families have questions about what the return to school will look like for our students in terms of protocols. Oh, she also puts up with me! I am excited that her birthday is this weekend so we can celebrate properly. She is a phenomenal mom, nurse, and overall human. It also happens to be my wife's, Carrie, birthday! Over the course of my 22-year education and coaching career, I have not always been able to always properly celebrate with her. It signifies the official start of athletics it is the unofficial countdown to the beginning of school. In my "world" the date of August 1st is a significant date.
